PROTECTING ALL
As the vaccines become available to all, we continue to support and honor our heroes. The nurses, doctors, porters, custodians, receptionists, clerks, food service workers, elder care and mental health professionals, and many others who risk their lives every day to save ours – whom we view as the last line of defense against the virus, those working directly with and helping to heal the sick.
We also recognize an even larger need for protective gear along what we view as the front line: from first response teams to sanitation workers to mail carriers and more. In this effort we have delivered thousands of pieces of gear to civil servants and their unions.
As the the battle against COVID-19 continues, communities and businesses are opening up, elevating the risk of infections. Our battle against the virus continues in our latest operation as we work to reinforce the front line that stretches right up to the front doors of our homes and families, especially in underserved communities that are especially vulnerable. FRONTLINE TO FRONT DOOR is our community-centric approach to fighting the virus at the most common source of infection: everyday human interactions. FL2FD channels our proven procurement and distribution processes through existing community support organizations who are successfully distributing these safety supplies to those in need.
As the vaccine becomes more widely available, Shields For Heroes continues to deliver protection because no one is safe until we are all safe, FRONTLINE TO FRONTDOOR.
